Yesterday Squirt and I had a conversation while he was going potty, it went like this:
Squirt: Mommy, you no have a peepee?
Me: No
Squirt: No? You don't?
Me: No I don't
Squirt: How you go peepee?
Me: I don't
Squirt: You do. You have a peepee mommy, open your pants, let me see.
And then he kept demanding I "open my pants." Can you imagine if someone had been hearing this conversation, or if it had happened somewhere like a public restroom??!

Update
Well... I got my house cleaned after my last post. I somehow got a burst of energy (and the little story about all the sick germs, all creepy and crawly all over the toys, helped. Little Man got a little more motivated to help!!) and got everything clean. I mean I basically have to start all over today but oh well... such is life.
Today I took 2 full boxes of toys away. They'll go to DI shortly, thank goodness. Last night both boys fought for hours over 2 small animals. So I took them away and made the decicion that these 2 are spoiled so rotten that they don't deserve all the toys that they have. I needed to give some away anyways, but they helped push that along.
I think Squirt is finally healthy, all though he went to nursery on sunday and now is developing a nasty cough. I wonder when the last time those toys were cleaned??? It sucked because I had him 90% potty trained, he was even dry over night- before this whole 3 weeks of diahrea hit. Now we basically have to start all over. All though he did start telling me when he had to go to the bathroom when he was sick because he was getting a rash and it didn't feel good. But today is a new day and we'll give it a go again. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! It's funny though, I'll ask him is he needs to go potty and he'll say "No, I already did"- Great!
Little Man's class has a "superstar" each week and the child from the previous week picks next weeks superstar. So a girl picked Little Man and so he got to take in pictures of himself and his family and tell the class all about the things he likes. Aparently he wants to be a firefighter when he grows up. That was the first I'd heard of that one! At some point during the week all the kids drew pictures for Little Man and wrote him a little note. The teacher then laminated them and had them bound into a book. It is so cool. Almost all of them just said "Chase, you are my friend" or something to that effect, but one little girl wrote "Chase, I love you" and drew a picture of them holding hands, it was so cute and it made me laugh.
Little Man aparently took my lecture on his language to heart and now he's on "potty mouth" watch. The other day he came running in and said "hey I heard you say that" I don't even know what I'd said, but apparently he thought i'd sworn. fortunately I haven't heard anymore out of his mouth.
Anyway, that's what we've been upto for the last week.

My to do list
So I haven't cleaned in a while, Squirt was sick (puking). And then he was sick again (a cold). Then again (diarea). Then that escaleted into diarea and puking. So I just haven't wanted to clean. I'm tired. Because of course I have to hold him and kiss him and take care of him, so I start puking. Oh the joys of being a mother. [Now i did clean, I mean I've kept Clorox in business, I'm just lacking in the laundry/dishes department]
So over the next couple of days I need to:
*Do the dishes, which I swear I just did... like 2 days ago. Seriously?!
*Clean the hall bathroom. It's seen it's fair share of puke and other bodily functions, plus it's the "boy bathroom" which if you've ever lived in a house with boys you know that means it's just gross.
*I cleaned the play room about a week ago and about 2.5 mintes later I heard the crash of trains and cars and blocks and animals all being poored onto the floor. I haven't entered since, but as more puking began yesterday I probably should with a can of lysol. While there I may play magician and make ALOT of stuff disappear!!
*I also need to clean the boys bedroom, because it's now a pig sty. Because Mom, there is no where to play in the play room, it SO messy!
*Laundry. I haven't had clean clothes in over a week. I've been busy washing things covered in puke and poop. Now I need to tackle my clothes. That just never makes for a happy me.
But instead I'm blogging about all I need to do and I just realized that Squirt is asleep on the floor (because he was up 4 times last night) so I might join him!

It Begins...
Would someone like to explain to me why my Kindergartner just dropped a football and said "Oh, SH*%" ???!??!??!?
Are his 5 year old friends saying things like that?
We've had a lot of problems with taking the Lord's name in vain... At first I freaked out on him about it but now I try not to get real mad about it and just talk with him why we don't do it, because I know he hears it everywhere and it gets in your head. I think I'm getting through to him, I haven't heard it in a long time! And one day we were walking around Sam's Club and he dropped the "F" bomb, although I saw that one coming because he was rhyming... and then decided to rhyme things with truck... truck, muck, stuck, buck, F*%#. And I did freak out on that one because that's just not even negotiable.
But this word just bothers me, he definately didn't hear it from Hubbie or I, but from the TV? Movies? His friends? Who knows!!? I felt bad, he started crying... I know he didn't know it was a bad word, but still... it just makes me sad to see the challenges and temptations that my children will face in their lives and they are already surfacing at the age of 5. I wish there was a way I could protect them, but I know that wouldn't do any good, so I have to just throw them out there and hope and pray that they do what's right. But again, he's 5. Does he know what's right at this point?? Thanks for letting me vent.

Student of Character
Every month Little Man's school does the whole "Student of the Month" thing, but they also do a "Student of Character" as well. Today Little Man's teacher chose him for this one.
This is what she wrote about him: "The character we have been working on is being trustworthy. I chose Little Man because I can trust him to be honest and tell the truth. He knows the difference between right and wrong, and I can count on Little Man to do the right thing. Good job Little Man!"
How awesome is that??! He got a coupon for a free slice of pizza, a pencil, some fruit snacks and a Bumper Sticker (heaven help me... I hate bumper stickers!) I'm so proud of him!

Those "Precious" Little Words
Is there anything that warms a mothers heart more than to hear her children playing happily together, oh wait... that sounded like a skin on skin smack... wait, yup that's my 2 year old crying... wait for it... wait for it... "SHHHHHHHHHHHH! Stop Crying, Stop Crying... DON"T TELL MOM!"
You know that saying "The Lord won't give you more than you can handle"??
I'm thinking that might be the reason I don't have more children!

I wanted to let you all know about this site: Totally Ready, one, because I get entered to win something if I do, but also because I love it!! It is an amazing source for food storage and emergency essential tips and ideas. I'm currently working on the "7 Steps" program, (I'm only on week 8) but I already feel more prepared for any emergency that might arise. Check it out!!
