The Class of 2021

I'm a week and a half late posting this but better late than never!

Can you believe that?? the class of 2021- that sounds like FOREVER away!

I love his teacher, she doesn't take any crap but at the same time the kids just love her. Anyone that can handle 21 5-year-olds should be a shoe-in for heaven!

I've been a little bit worried because every morning Little Man doesn't really get involved with other kids on the playground, he just kindof hum hah's around, I mean nobody want their kid to not have any friends, but today he ran straight to a group of extremely roudy boys and joined right in on the group of tag that they had going on, so that was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders.

I had to babysit a little girl this morning and Little Man really wanted to stay home and help me take care of the "babies". I told him that would be totally boring and that he'd have a lot more fun at school. About 5 minutes later, he came down with a stomach ache. I told him that sick kids have to stay in bed all day, to which he replyed "well, i'm not that sick". then he had a runny nose, same conversation, then a fever. He's been in school 7 days now, how does he know these excuses?? Another mom suggested that they must have discussed the reason's you don't come to school if your sick. I hope so, cause if he's coming up with these on his own- I'm in trouble!

All my kids were sick off and on that first few weeks of school, too, though Justin was the only one that was really sick. Wierd how that works. LOL

2021 is ages away when you put it that way. I wanna know... surely the teacher doesn't keep those little rubbermaid boxes on the table, because all I see is boxes being accidentally knocked on the floor every 2 1/2 minutes... ha ha!

7 days and he is already throwing the tummy ache at you? Did he put the thermometer against the light bulb too? ha ha

I'm glad Chasetin is liking school. He is such a little gentleman. I blogged about how he got right down and helped Rylie learn how to play with her toys. What a cutie. 2021 sounds like another world away. It'll be here before we know it!

Go class of 2021. He certainly is a handsome kindergartener. You will make it through all the excuses, friends and lack of friends, good and bad teachers, and homework.
